Absence for Death. 1. Five (5) days leave of absence with pay will be granted upon request when death occurs in the immediate family. Immediate family is defined to include spouse, children, brother or sister of the employee, parents, grandparents of employee or spouse, other family members for whom the employee is legally responsible and any other member of the immediate household.
