ABSENCE FROM WORK AND REPORTING. 12.01 An employee who is unable to report for work shall give the Employer a minimum of four (4) hours’ notice (except for the day shift which shall be required to give one and one-half (1½) hours’ notice). 12.02 An employee who is off work due to illness or injury for a short term must inform the Employer eight (8) hours in advance of her scheduled shift that she will return to work that day.
