Common use of Accident Review Clause in Contracts

Accident Review. A. Members of the department involved in an incident causing injury to themselves or to another City employee or are involved in a motor vehicle collision are subject to the review of the incident by the Injury Review Board and/or the Vehicle Collision Review Board as appropriate. The Injury Review Board shall be determined by the City Manager and Police Chief. It shall be composed of an equal number of City employees and members of the Police Department and shall be chaired by the Safety and Risk Officer. The Vehicle Collision Review Board shall be determined by the City Manager and Police Chief. It shall be composed of an equal number of City employees and members of the Police Department, to include one (1) Sergeant, and shall be chaired by a police captain to be selected by the Police Chief. The Injury Review Board will submit its findings and recommendations pursuant to the current City of Xxxxxx policy or as may be amended by the City Manager. The Collision Review Board will submit its findings and recommendations pursuant to the current Lawton Police Department Policy. B. Any disciplinary action shall be administered within thirty (30) calendar days following the appropriate board’s review.
