Common use of Acting Higher Duties Allowance Clause in Contracts

Acting Higher Duties Allowance. a) An academic staff member who acts in a higher position will be paid a higher duties allowance at a rate agreed with the employer. To qualify for a higher duties, allowance the academic staff member must undertake the responsibilities of the position for at least five consecutive days.
