Duty Hours. The following limits on requirements to undertake duty apply for full-time kaimahi (see clause 2.4.1 for part time kaimahi).

3.1.1 Ordinary hours of work shall be up to 37.5 hours per week for kaimahi at: EIT, MIT, NMIT, SIT, Tai Poutini, Toi Ohomai, Unitec, Whitireia, Wintec.
3.1.2 Ordinary hours of work shall be up to 40 per week for kaimahi at: UCOL, WelTec, XXXX
3.1.3 Ordinary hours of work shall be up to either 37.5 or 40 hours per week for kaimahi at for NorthTec, Open Polytechnic, Otago, Ara, with 37.5 being typically offered at Ara and Otago.
3.1.4 This will normally be worked over 5 consecutive 7.5-hour or 8-hour days: Monday to Friday 7am to 9pm at Whitireia, SIT, Otago Monday to Saturday 6am to 10pm at NMIT, for Aquaculture Technicians, this is Monday-Sunday 6am to 10pm at Toi Ohomai, Aquatic Centre kaimahi working weekdays 5am-9pm, weekends 6.30am-9pm. 7am to 9pm at Ara, EIT, MIT, Unitec, WelTec and XXXX. 8am to 6pm at Tai Poutini 8am to 9.30pm at UCOL Across the week between 7am and 9pm at NorthTec and Open Polytechnic between 7am and 10pm at Wintec.

Duty Hours. The Resident Physician shall fulfill responsibilities during duty hours defined in Sponsoring Institution policies and procedures and as the Program Director may direct in accordance with policies and procedures in the Manual for Residents and Fellows.
12.1 Comply with Sponsoring Institution policies and procedures regarding duty hours, including accurately reporting duty hours and responding to surveys conducted by MAHEC or the GME program regarding duty hours.
Duty Hours. Duty hours must be in accordance with the institutional and ACGME policies. The house officer agrees to participate in institutional programs monitoring duty hours. House Officers who fail to log duty hours or log erroneous duty hours are subject to disciplinary action. Questions about duty hours should be directed to the LSUHSC Graduate Medical Education Office or Ombudsman listed in the House Officer Manual, when they can not be resolved at the program level. Duty Hours. Resident’s duty hours will be scheduled in accordance with the UTSW training program duty hour’s policy and procedures.
Duty Hours. Program requirements relating to duty hours and on call schedules are based on educational rationale and patient care needs including continuity of care. Assigned duty hours will comply with ACGME, specific RRC and University of California guidelines. (See Exhibit I.) Each program establishes and publishes its on call and duty hours based on educational goals and clinical responsibilities. Back up support will be provided when patient care responsibilities are especially difficult or prolonged, or if unexpected circumstances create resident fatigue sufficient to jeopardize patient care.
Duty Hours. The internal business of the UNION shall be conducted during non-duty hours.
Duty Hours. Shall be devoted fully to the performance of assigned duties. Periods of absence for personal reasons are not creditable toward duty hours and must be charged to annual leave, leave of absence without pay or, if resulting from a legitimate illness or physical injury, to sick leave as defined in Section 4, Article C.
Duty Hours. The scheduled time required to ensure the completion of the Resident Physician’s scope of work (as defined in Article 1.01). Duty hours include standard duty hours, shift based duty hours, and on-call duty hours as set out in Article 23.
