Acting Paramedic Premium Pay. The City shall pay a ten percent (10.0%) premium pay in addition to the unit member’s base pay to bargaining unit members during periods of time that the unit member is assigned to fill a temporary vacancy (due to sick leave, vacation, etc.) in a regular paramedic assignment. To be eligible for Acting Paramedic Premium Pay, a unit member must be licensed by the State of California as an EMT-P (paramedic), accredited by the Local EMS Agency to practice as a paramedic in Sonoma County.

Acting Paramedic Premium Pay. The City shall pay a ten percent (10.0%) premium pay, or 5% for Fire Engineers receiving 5% Premium Pay as outlined in 16.14.5, in addition to the unit member’s base pay to bargaining unit members during periods of time that the unit member is assigned to fill a temporary vacancy (due to sick leave, vacation, etc.) in a regular paramedic assignment. To be eligible for Acting Paramedic Premium Pay, a unit member must be licensed by the State of California as an EMT-P (paramedic), accredited by the Local EMS Agency to practice as a paramedic in Sonoma County.

  • Training Premium Qualified Operators selected by the Employer to train new Operators shall be paid a training premium of 40¢ per hour while engaged in training work.

  • First Aid Premium First Aid Premiums shall apply when an employee is assigned by the Employer to be a First Aid Attendant on a job site and shall be paid as follows: Level II - $1.00 per hour. Level III - $2.00 per hour.

Weekend premium pay shall not be included in the nurse’s regular rate of pay for overtime pay calculations, unless required by the Fair Labor Standards Act. The weekend shall be defined as all hours between 11:00 p.m. Friday and 11:00 p. m. Sunday.

  • Longevity Premium From the start of the sixty-first (61st) full month to and including the one hundred twentieth (120th) full month of continuous employment, permanent employees shall be paid a longevity premium of two percent (2%).

  • Premium Pay “Premium Pay” is a special pay rate for working during times that are less desirable, such as weekends, holidays or late shifts. The City will not pay the Consultant Premium Pay.

  • Premium Payment The Bank shall pay any premiums due on the Policy.

  • Overtime Premium Pay Time and one-half (1 1/2) the employee's straight time rate of pay shall be paid for all hours actually worked in excess of forty (40) hours in any one workweek.
