Additional Time and Effort. While the team was on hold for a few months of the schedule delay with no work happening at the end of 2019, many of those months included miscellaneous scope items that are significant in aggregate. We had several meetings about budget and schedule between November 2019 and April 2020, as well as touch base meetings with NV5, DCSD and JHL as we worked through the process and design. Additionally, the design team was engaged in team communication, responding to emails, and working on parts of the design and creating exhibits / documents for discussion. E. Team Structure: From a staffing and team standpoint, starting and stopping a project multiple times for unknown timeframes is not as efficient a process. Similarly, slowing a project down due to delayed owner input is difficult because it stretches the time that the team is working on particular design issues. Architect consistently needed to reevaluate staffing and bring new people into the Project as the schedule was adjusted and the team availability modified. Additional Services Compensation Compensation for Additional Services as described herein shall be a stipulated sum of $125,000, with no change to the current Reimbursable Expenses amount.   • Additional Time If because of events beyond the Design Professional’s reasonable control, it is not able to meet the specified time period, then it should be entitled to ask the Owner for additional time, which request shall not be unreasonably denied.

  • Instructional Time 26.1 Each full-time elementary teacher's regular weekly assignment shall not exceed 23 hours 45 minutes of instructional time inclusive of preparation time as provided for in Article D.4 except for teachers who enrol only Kindergarten whose regular weekly assignment shall not exceed 24 hours of instruction time inclusive of preparation time.

  • Term and Effective Date The initial term of this Contract will begin June 20, 2020, or on the date the Contract is fully signed by all Parties, whichever is later, and will expire December 1, 2023, consistent with the Master Agreement, unless terminated earlier in accordance with Exhibit B, Special Contract Conditions (Florida).

  • Additional Quantities For a period not exceeding ninety (90) days from the date of solicitation award, the Customer reserves the right to acquire additional quantities up to the amount shown on the solicitation but not to exceed the threshold for Category Two at the prices submitted in the response to the solicitation.

  • Personal Time Employees shall be eligible to take accrued PTO time for personal reasons. Such time must be scheduled in advance in accordance with Employer policies and be approved by the employee's supervisor. Personal time PTO must be taken in at least one hour increments.

  • Rental Rates and Wage Rates for Change Orders As soon as is practical, but prior to the completion of the Construction Preparation Period and in any event prior to the commencement of any Work on the Site, the Contractor shall submit in accordance with the style and format of a specimen to be furnished by the Owner for consideration of the Owner the following: (1) a proposal for rental rates on heavy construction equipment that shall apply in the event Change Order Work is performed, and (2) a proposal for wage rates for the types of project labor that shall apply in the event of the execution of any Change Order Work. Under penalty of false swearing, a principal of the contracting firm shall certify that the proposal for rental rates and proposal for wage rates do not exceed current costs for like services. The Owner will in no event consider a rental rate in excess of eighty percent of the rate set forth in the latest edition of the "Compilation of Nationally Averaged Rental Rates for Construction Equipment" of the Associated Equipment Distributors unless the rates proposed in excess of eighty percent are supported by proof satisfactory to the Owner that the excess rates are reasonable. If the equipment is owned by the Contractor the costs shall be charged at a maximum of eighty percent of market monthly rental rates for the amount of time used. If applicable, transportation costs may be included. The decision of the Owner shall be final, binding and conclusive on all parties. Rental rates shall be payable only for the actual time the equipment is required on the Site.

  • Commencement Date The Subcontractor shall be permitted to begin the Services on , 20 (“Commencement Date”).

  • Pacific Time If enabled by Platform, the Same Day ACH means that the transfer will be performed within one (1) business day. Any same day ACH transfer scheduled after the cut-off time will be treated as if it were scheduled as next day ACH transfer. In some circumstances, transactions may be delayed for risk or compliance reasons.

  • DELIVERY: FOB DESTINATION, INSIDE DELIVERY, FREIGHT PAID Whenever possible, contractors should give the ordering entities 3 working days prior notice of any deliveries and/or installations. Furniture contractors will not be responsible for the removal/moving of existing furnishings unless requested by the ordering entity. Contractors should verify site readiness prior to delivery. All deliveries will be made during normal working hours unless otherwise arranged with the ordering entity. Contractor will communicate any scheduling delays and/or changes immediately. Agencies will not be responsible for any freight damage, concealed or otherwise.

  • WAIVER AND EFFECTIVE DATE PJM requests that the Commission grant any and all waivers of the Commission’s rules and regulations necessary for acceptance of this filing and the enclosed Amended Service Agreements. Additionally, PJM requests a waiver of the Commission’s 60-day prior notice requirement to (i) allow the effective date of the Amended ISA to remain January 28, 2019; and
