Common use of Adjustment of Assigned Time Clause in Contracts

Adjustment of Assigned Time. A unit member who works a minimum of 30 minutes per day in excess of his/her part-time assignment for a period of 20 consecutive working days or more shall have his/her basic assignment changed to reflect the longer hours in order to acquire fringe benefits on a prorated basis as specified in Education Code Section 45136 i.e., sick leave, vacation, etc. Health and Welfare benefits, if applicable, will be provided consistent with Article 8.
