Adjustment of Seniority Date. An employee’s employee who spends more than 6 months on unpaid leave will have her or his seniority date adjusted forward according to the total amount of time spent on unpaid leave. (Layoff time shall not count as unpaid leave under this subdivision and an employee's seniority date will not be adjusted by the period regardless of an authorized unpaid leave length of absence exceeding six (6) monthslayoff.)
