Adjustments in Unit Price Sample Clauses

Adjustments in Unit Price. 1. Contractor or Owner shall be entitled to an adjustment in the unit price with respect to an item of Unit Price Work if: a. the quantity of the item of Unit Price Work performed by Contractor differs materially and significantly from the estimated quantity of such item indicated in the Agreement; and b. Contractor’s unit costs to perform the item of Unit Price Work have changed materially and significantly as a result of the quantity change. 2. The adjustment in unit price will account for and be coordinated with any related changes in quantities of other items of Work, and in Contractor’s costs to perform such other Work, such that the resulting overall change in Contract Price is equitable to Owner and Contractor. 3. Adjusted unit prices will apply to all units of that item.

Contractor or Owner shall be entitled to an adjustment in the unit price with respect to an item of Unit Price Work if: a. the extended price of a particular item of Unit Price Work amounts to 10 percent or more of the Contract Price (based on estimated quantities at the time of Contract formation) and the variation in the quantity of that particular item of Unit Price Work actually furnished or performed by Contractor differs by more than 25 percent from the estimated quantity of such item indicated in the Agreement; and b. Contractor’s unit costs to perform the item of Unit Price Work have changed materially and significantly as a result of the quantity change. 2. The adjustment in unit price will account for and be coordinated with any related changes in quantities of other items of Work, and in Contractor’s costs to perform such other Work, such that the resulting overall change in Contract Price is equitable to Owner and Contractor. 3. Adjusted unit prices will apply to all units of that item.

Related to Adjustments in Unit Price

  • Unit Price Unless the bidder clearly indicates that the price is based on consideration of being awarded the entire lot and that an adjustment to the price was made based on receiving the entire bid, any difference between the unit price correctly extended and the total price shown for all items shall be offered shall be resolved in favor of the unit price.

  • Market Adjustments Neither this Article nor any other in this Collective Agreement prevents the Employer from using other funds to increase a Member’s salary in response to offers received from other employers or to accommodate other market forces.
