Common use of Administrative Transfer Clause in Contracts

Administrative Transfer. After a member is assigned to a position for a school year in accordance with Section 5.1 and a transfer to a position with a lower responsibility factor or a reduction in responsibility factor in the present position is necessary due to circumstances such as a reduction in enrollment which results in a reduction of teaching staff, closing of a school, redistricting, or the opening of a new school, the member’s salary will not be reduced during that year. Consideration will be given to placing the member in a comparable vacant position.
