Affect on Wages. 1) The wage rate of any employee shall not be reduced when their position is reclassified to a classification with a lower wage rate, but shall be maintained at the rate of pay of the employee at the time the reclassification was initiated until the normal wage rate assigned to the resulting classification exceeds the wage rate of the employee.
