Common use of After 6 Months Clause in Contracts

After 6 Months. Employees whose employment is terminated, and who have been in the continuous employ of the Employer more than six (6) months, but less than one (1) year, shall not be entitled to such pro rata pay where termination of employment is due to a discharge or to a voluntary quit, but shall receive prorated vacation only where termination of employment is due to a layoff.
