Twelve Month Employees. A member of the unit who is employed on a twelve (12) month 19 basis shall be allowed paid vacation leave, exclusive of holidays, as follows:
(a) An employee with less than five (5) years of continuous service shall accrue one day 21 per month (Twelve (12) days per year).
Twelve Month Employees. For twelve-month continuous employees the normal working hours shall be up to seven and one-quarter (7 ¼) hours per day. For those positions designated by Human Resources, the normal working hours shall be up to eight and one-quarter (8 ¼) hours per day, for five (5) consecutive days per week.
Twelve Month Employees. A. Employees employed on a twelve (12) month basis shall be granted ten (10) days of vacation per year. If such employees are employed for less than a full year, they shall be granted seven and one-half (7.5) days' vacation for the first nine (9) months of employment and five-sixths (5/6ths) additional day of vacation for each additional month of employment, not to exceed a maximum of ten (10) days' vacation.
Twelve Month Employees. Effective October 1, 2021, the School District shall contribute a sum of not to exceed $1,039.00 per month toward the premium for dependent coverage for each eligible employee who qualifies for and is enrolled in a School District family health and hospitalization plan.
Twelve Month Employees. When schools are closed due to inclement weather or a malfunction of facilities, employees not required to report to work by their supervisor shall not suffer a loss of wages or other benefits for up to four (4) work days. When schools are closed due to inclement weather or a malfunction of facilities, employees need not report to work and shall suffer no loss of wages or other benefits unless the particular employee is required to report to work by the immediate supervisor, for up to (4) four work days. However, if schools are closed due to reasons which do not allow scheduled days to be counted as days of student instruction and allow the school district to receive full state aid for those days, the Board shall have the right to reschedule the lost days and the Board shall have the right to require employees to report for work and work the rescheduled days without additional wages, compensation or benefits.
Twelve Month Employees. 1. The work year for twelve-month employees shall begin July 1 and end June 30.
2. The regular work week for twelve-month employees other than custodians shall consist of five (5), eight (8) hour work days, Monday through Friday, inclusive. Third shift work commencing before midnight on Sunday or after midnight on Friday shall be considered as part of the regular work week.
3. The administration shall have the right to establish shifts for custodians with flexible hours and flexible days for a total work week of forty (40) hours. Custodians will be selected for duty assignments at the discretion of the administration regardless of seniority or date of hire, except as provided below. This right shall extend to all assignments without exception, including rover and stadium assignments and shift assignments. The administration shall have the right to assign the least senior custodian in each building to the following shifts:
a. Tuesday through Saturday shift.
b. Monday through Thursday plus Saturday shift with Friday off. All other custodians shall work the Monday through Friday shift.
4. 5. For each holiday as identified above that school is in session, and for each holiday that falls on a non-work day, employees, except for cafeteria workers, shall be paid at one and one-half (1-1/2) times their hourly rate or shall receive one (1) compensatory day at the option of the employee to be scheduled by agreement with the immediate supervisor.
6. Employees, hired prior to September 1, 2000, shall receive their birthday as a holiday. In the event that an employee's birthday falls on a day which is not a work day, the employee shall be entitled to one compensatory day, but shall not be entitled to the benefit as set forth in paragraph 5 above.
7. When there is an early school dismissal on the workday before the Labor Day weekend, employees, with the exception of mechanics, shall have a work shift of five (5) hours. When December 31 falls on a Saturday, employees shall have a work shift of five (5) hours on December 30. Twelve Month Employees. If schools are closed by action of the Employer for any reason, employees shall make every effort to report to work. Employees failing to report for work, except for impassable highways, personal illness or jury duty, shall make up the time not worked at their regular rates of pay, or salary may be deducted.
Twelve Month Employees. In the event school is closed for a full day, the School Board will have the authority to determine if, how, and when such time will be made up. If make-up time is required by the School Board, employees of this unit who did not work on the closed day shall have their pay reduced accordingly. If make-up time is not required by the School Board, there shall be no reduction in pay for the day that school was closed.
Twelve Month Employees. Insurance contributions for twelve (12) month employees eligible for benefits under this article shall be paid monthly for twelve months of the year.
Twelve Month Employees. Twelve (12) month employees shall normally work each weekday except for holidays, vacations or other paid absences defined in this agreement.
