AGENT OF PAYEE. MERCHANT ACKNOWLEDGES AND AGREES THAT, FOR THE INITIAL TERM AND ANY RENEWAL TERM(S) OF THIS AGREEMENT, NUVEI IS ACTING AS MERCHANT’S AUTHORIZED AGENT FOR THE LIMITED PURPOSE OF ACCEPTING PAYMENTS ON THE MERCHANT’S BEHALF FROM RECEIVERS FOR PRODUCTS AND/OR SERVICES SOLD BY MERCHANT, AND MERCHANT APPOINTS NUVEI AS ITS AGENT, AND EXPRESSLY AUTHORIZES NUVEI TO RECEIVE SUCH RECEIVER PAYMENTS ON MERCHANT’S BEHALF. DEBIT ENTRIES TO A MERCHANT’S RECEIVER (VIA THE AUTOMATIC CLEARINGHOUSE NETWORK) SHALL BE CONSIDERED PAYMENT TO MERCHANT, SATISFYING AND EXTINGUISHING THE PAYMENT OBLIGATION OF THE RELEVANT RECEIVER TO THE MERCHANT (IN THE AMOUNT PAID BY SUCH RECEIVER) AS IF THE RELEVANT RECEIVER HAD PAID THE MERCHANT DIRECTLY.

  • Additional Insured Endorsement Form The Contractor shall name the Owner as additional insured on Contractor’s Commercial General Liability policy.

  • Additional Insured Endorsement An Additional Insured Endorsement (CG20 10 or C20 26), signed by an authorized insurance company representative, must be submitted to the City to evidence the endorsement of the City as an additional insured per General Requirements, Subsection 1) above.

Commercial General Liability Additional Insured endorsement including ongoing and completed operations coverage will be submitted with the Certificates of Insurance. Commercial General Liability and Business Auto Liability will be endorsed to provide primary and non-contributory coverage.

  • Acceptability of Insurance Insurance is to be placed with insurers acceptable to the City’s Risk Manager.

  • Additional Insured Status and Scope of Coverage The County of Los Angeles, its Special Districts, Elected Officials, Officers, Agents, Employees and Volunteers (collectively County and its Agents) shall be provided additional insured status under Contractor’s General Liability policy with respect to liability arising out of Contractor’s ongoing and completed operations performed on behalf of the County. County and its Agents additional insured status shall apply with respect to liability and defense of suits arising out of the Contractor’s acts or omissions, whether such liability is attributable to the Contractor or to the County. The full policy limits and scope of protection also shall apply to the County and its Agents as an additional insured, even if they exceed the County’s minimum Required Insurance specifications herein. Use of an automatic additional insured endorsement form is acceptable providing it satisfies the Required Insurance provisions herein.

  • Acceptable Insurers All insurance policies shall be issued by an insurance company currently authorized by the Insurance Commissioner to transact business of insurance or is on the List of Approved Surplus Line Insurers in the State of California, with an assigned policyholders’ Rating of A- (or higher) and Financial Size Category Class VI (or larger) in accordance with the latest edition of Best’s Key Rating Guide, unless otherwise approved by the DISTRICT’s Risk Manager.

  • Industrial Insurance Waiver With respect to the performance of this Agreement and as to claims against the County, its appointed and elected officers, agents and employees, the Contractor expressly waives its immunity under Title 51 of the Revised Code of Washington, the Industrial Insurance Act, as now or hereafter amended, for injuries to its employees and agrees that the obligations to indemnify, defend and hold harmless provided in this Agreement extend to any claim brought by or on behalf of any employee of the Contractor. Along with the other provisions of this Agreement, this waiver is mutually negotiated by the parties to this Agreement.

  • Acceptability of Insurers Insurance is to be placed with insurers with a current A.M. Best rating of not less than A:VII.
