  • Bus Drivers A. The Board agrees to pay bus drivers their regular rate per hour for driving in excess of four (4) hours per day on their regular route. The Board agrees to pay bus drivers their regular rate while transporting students on another regular route during an emergency situation. B. The Board agrees to pay bus drivers $15.00 per hour for field trips. Field trips will be paid from the point where students are picked up to the point students are returned or the point when the driver returns to the pick-up location. C. The terms "field trips," "special trips," and "extra trips" shall henceforth be known as field trips. All non-walking field trips which are sponsored by the District, have been approved by the Superintendent, and are accompanied by an advisor/teacher shall be offered to regular drivers before they are offered to substitutes. Dropped trips or trips that arise within twenty-four (24) hours of the scheduled departure time can be filled with the first available driver. D. Each bus driver shall be paid for all time that is spent on their bus including deadhead, breakdown, maintenance time, layover time, and random drug and alcohol testing. E. All drivers may take their regularly assigned bus on short trips, however, longer trips shall be assigned at the discretion of the Transportation Department. F. The Board agrees to pay the cost up to thirty-five dollars ($35.00) for costs incurred to any bus driver for physical, eye tests, or abstracts. G. At the beginning of each new school year, field trips shall be offered on a rotating basis from a driver rotation list, beginning with the most senior driver on the list. A bus driver who cancels a trip (non-emergency cancellation as determined by the supervisor) with less than forty-eight (48) hours notice shall miss their turn on the next two trip rotations. Drivers may elect to remove themselves from consideration for extra trips. If removed, drivers will remain so for the designated period of time that trips are bid or they may elect to remove themselves for the entire school year. H. The Board agrees to supply each bus with a broom and window cleaner, for the proper inside and outside cleaning of the bus. I. Mid-day preschool routes shall be offered, bid, and paid as part of drivers’ regular routes. J. All bus routes shall be bid with the most senior driver appointed, providing it is not excessive cost to the Board. K. If a driver takes a field trip he/she will only be deducted the actual morning or evening time from regular route. L. Nine (9) or more students shall be considered a field trip to be transported in a van, mini bus or regular bus, excluding trips by the multiple impaired students, History Day, Science Olympiad, Mock Trial, Vision Unit, commercial buses sponsored by a non- Board entity for football state playoffs, and all other regional and State sports events. M. The Board shall make available to all bus drivers a copy of the State Manual to assist drivers in passing the required written examination. N. The Board shall provide inservice education for all regular drivers employed the effective date of this Agreement to assist drivers in passing the required written examination. O. All bus drivers shall be required to meet all licensing requirements of the State of Ohio to be employed or to remain in the employment of the District. P. All bus drivers shall pass any drug testing requirements established by the Ohio Department of Education, Ohio State Laws, and/or Federal Law governing the commercial licensing of all bus drivers. The cost of said required testing shall be borne by the Board. Q. The Board shall reimburse up to $44.75, once every (4) years, the cost of renewal of the Commercial Driver's License fee, upon submission of a fee receipt. R. The drivers who were grandfathered to drive their buses to and from home on their current routes as of 2001-2002 will remain grandfathered as long as they are drivers for the District, and remain on the same routes. All new drivers shall be subject to the approval of the Transportation Supervisor and Superintendent on taking buses home. (See paragraph J.) In the event a bus driver authorized to take his/her bus home, including the grandfathered drivers, moves from his/her present residence, the Transportation Supervisor and Superintendent shall determine whether the driver will be permitted to continue to drive his/her bus home. (See paragraph J.) S. Bus drivers who are required to plug bus heaters in at their residences shall be paid $1.50 per plug-in. T. The Board will pay for the cost of mandatory training to meet certification requirements.

  • Use of School Buildings The ASSOCIATION and its representatives shall have the right to use school buildings at all reasonable hours for meetings. This use must be within the hours when custodians are regularly employed and within accepted school policy.

  • Configuration Management The Contractor shall maintain a configuration management program, which shall provide for the administrative and functional systems necessary for configuration identification, control, status accounting and reporting, to ensure configuration identity with the UCEU and associated cables produced by the Contractor. The Contractor shall maintain a Contractor approved Configuration Management Plan that complies with ANSI/EIA-649 2011. Notwithstanding ANSI/EIA-649 2011, the Contractor’s configuration management program shall comply with the VLS Configuration Management Plans, TL130-AD-PLN-010-VLS, and shall comply with the following:

  • Drainage Systems (1) Clear culvert inlets, outlets, and sediment catching basins. (2) Maintain waterbars, drainage dips, and other water diversion measures. (3) During active use, patrol and maintain functional drainage. (4) Repair damaged culvert ends.

  • Transportation Management Tenant shall fully comply with all present or future programs intended to manage parking, transportation or traffic in and around the Building, and in connection therewith, Tenant shall take responsible action for the transportation planning and management of all employees located at the Premises by working directly with Landlord, any governmental transportation management organization or any other transportation-related committees or entities.

  • Fire Safety Resident will not tamper with fire alarms, smoke detectors, fire extinguishers, fire hoses, or exit signs. Resident will promptly evacuate Residence Facility upon the sounding of an alarm or as otherwise directed by College Housing staff. Resident will participate in any periodic fire drill and fire safety training conducted by College for the Residence Facility.

  • Landlord and Storage Agreements Upon request, provide Agent with copies of all existing agreements, and promptly after execution thereof provide Agent with copies of all future agreements, between an Obligor and any landlord, warehouseman, processor, shipper, bailee or other Person that owns any premises at which any Collateral may be kept or that otherwise may possess or handle any Collateral.

  • Utilities; Amenities The following utilities are included in the Total Rent set forth in this Agreement: Internet access and trash disposal. Resident will pay as additional Rent a pro-rata share (based on the number of contracted residents in possession for the applicable period) for the apartment's usage of electricity and water, applied pro-rata to any partial billing cycle. Resident will be responsible for his or her pro-rata share of electricity and water charges during the term of this Agreement, regardless of actual date of move-in or move-out. No refund or credit will be provided for usage below any applicable allowance levels. In connection with the administration of utility billing during the term of this Agreement, Resident will pay prior to occupying the assigned apartment (or on the first utility bill, at Owner's discretion), a single up-front billing service fee of up to $72.00 (or alternately, at Owner's option, a service fee of up to $6.00 per monthly bill) for administration, billing, overhead and similar expenses and charges incurred by Owner for providing utility allocations and billing services. Upon Resident's request, Owner will provide copies of applicable utility bills. At Owner's option, to the extent permitted by law, Resident may be pre-billed for the estimated amount of charges for any electricity and/or water bills anticipated to be received during the final 30 days of the term or after the end of the term of this Agreement, calculated based on historical electricity and/or water charges for the apartment and pursuant to applicable utility billing laws and regulations. As part of each utility bill, Resident may be charged and agrees to pay promptly to Owner any other miscellaneous charges billed by the utility provider and payable by the customer of record, plus late payment fees and/or NSF fees, as may be applicable, in the amounts stated in paragraph 2 of this Agreement, as liquidated estimates of costs incurred in connection with the administration and collection of late payment. Owner may elect to use one or more third-party service providers for providing, billing and/or servicing utility accounts; Resident acknowledges that such third-party providers are not utility providers. Owner makes no representations and hereby disclaims any and all warranties, express or implied, with respect to any utilities provided, including but not limited to those warranties concerning merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose or use, whether made allegedly by Owner or its representatives or agents, whether in writing or otherwise, except as otherwise expressly stated in this Agreement. Owner does not warrant or guarantee the protection of Resident's privacy during operation of utilities, that such utilities will satisfy Resident's requirements, or that the operation of utilities will be uninterrupted or error free. Resident acknowledges and agrees that neither Owner nor its affiliates, agents, employees or representatives will be responsible to Resident for any non-economic, consequential, incidental, indirect or special damages, including incidental, economic or punitive damages, arising from breach of warranty, breach of contract, negligence or any other legal ground of action, or by reason of the use, discontinuation or modification of any utilities or the termination of any utilities, whether arising from Resident's use of (or inability to use) utilities, or otherwise, even if Owner has been advised of the possibility of such damage. In the event that any utility service proves defective, or is discontinued or terminated, Owner's and Manager's entire combined liability and Resident's exclusive remedy will be limited to a reimbursement of the approximate cost of that utility incurred by Resident, prorated by the day for each day the utility service proved defective, or was discontinued or terminated, for more than 24 hours. Resident agrees to indemnify, defend and hold harmless Owner and its employees, affiliates and agents, from any and all losses, claims, damages, expenses, other liabilities and causes of action of every nature, including attorney fees, which arise directly or indirectly in connection with: (i) violation by Resident of any laws, ordinances, regulations or rules regarding the utilities; or (ii) illegal or inappropriate use of the utilities. Any damage or loss to any utility devices during Resident's occupancy will be charged to Resident (and the other resident(s) in the apartment, as applicable) at the replacement cost. Management will establish schedules and policies for the use of recreation facilities, amenities and other common spaces. Owner may add, remove, close (temporarily or permanently), upgrade or modify any of the recreation facilities, amenities or common spaces in Owner's discretion, without notice or compensation; provided that if this Agreement expressly includes a separate Amenity Fee, Resident's sole remedy will be limited to a pro-rata credit of such Amenity Fee for the period a covered amenity is closed or fully unavailable.   • Fire Extinguishers Provide UL-listed extinguishers, cabinets and accessories from a single manufacturer such as X.X. Industries or Xxxxxx’x Manufacturing Company that comply with local fire marshal approval. 12.1 Systems Furnishings: Systems furnishings will be supplied and installed by the State. It will be the Lessor’s responsibility to complete the electrical connections from the building electrical grid to the power connections or power poles for the system furnishings (see Division 16, Electrical).

  • Electrical appliance safety The Hirer shall ensure that any electrical appliances brought by them to the premises and used there shall be safe, in good working order, and used in a safe manner in accordance with the Electricity at Work Regulations 1989. Where a residual circuit breaker is provided the hirer must make use of it in the interests of public safety.
