To facilitate the annual leave scheduling in Sect. 21.6, the Chief shall distribute the annual patrol shift bid schedule no later than December 1 each year and the annual patrol shift bid completed request shall be submitted to the Chief of Police no later than December 15 of each year.

The new shift schedules will be effective in the first full pay period in January.
