Common use of Appeal of Discharge or Discipline Clause in Contracts

Appeal of Discharge or Discipline. Should the discharged or disciplined employee and the Xxxxxxx consider the discharge or discipline improper, a complaint shall be presented, in writing, through the Xxxxxxx to the Superintendent’s designated representative within three (3) regular scheduled working days of the discharge or discipline. The Superintendent’s designated representative will review the discharge or discipline and give an answer within five (5) regular scheduled working days after receiving the complaint. If the decision is not satisfactory to the Union, the matter shall be referred to Step Three of the grievance procedure.

If the decision is not satisfactory to the UnionAssociation, the matter shall be referred to Step Three 3 of the grievance procedureprocedure within five (5) regularly scheduled working days after receiving the Employer’s written answer.

If the decision is not satisfactory to the Union, the matter shall be referred to Step Three three of the grievance procedure.
