Contents of the Information Request The Information Request shall contain: a list of the specific information which the Freight Customer considers reasonably necessary in order for it to inform its decision on whether to submit an Access Proposal or a Train Operator Variation Request and, if so, for which Train Slot; and the timescale within which the Freight Customer considers it is reasonable for Network Rail to provide the information requested.   • SUPPLIER'S APPOINTMENT The Authority hereby appoints the Supplier as a potential provider of the Services and the Supplier shall be eligible to be considered for the award of Orders for such Services by the Authority and Other Contracting Bodies during the Term and in consideration of the Supplier agreeing to enter into this Framework Agreement and to perform its obligations under it the Authority agrees to pay and the Supplier agrees to accept on the signing of this Framework Agreement the sum of one (£1.00) pound sterling (receipt of which is hereby acknowledged by the Supplier).

  • Relation to Applicable Law The provisions of Sections 8.4, 8.5 and 8.6 of this Attachment with regard to the confidentiality of information shall be in addition to and not in derogation of any provisions of Applicable Law with regard to the confidentiality of information, including, but not limited to, 47 U.S.C. § 222, and are not intended to constitute a waiver by Verizon of any right with regard to protection of the confidentiality of the information of Verizon or Verizon Customers provided by Applicable Law.

  • Non-Promotive Appointment 254. An employee or officer who is a permanent appointee following completion of the probationary period or 2,080 hours of permanent service, and who accepts a non-promotive appointment in a classification having the same salary grade, or a lower salary grade, the appointee shall enter the new position at that salary step which is the same as that received in the prior appointment, or if the salary steps do not match, then the salary step which is immediately in excess of that received in the prior appointment, provided that such salary shall not exceed the maximum of the salary grade. Further increments shall be based upon the seniority increment anniversary date in the prior appointment.

  • CONTRACTOR’S RELATION TO THE STATE In the performance of this Agreement the Contractor is in all respects an independent contractor, and is neither an agent nor an employee of the State. Neither the Contractor nor any of its officers, employees, agents or members shall have authority to bind the State or receive any benefits, workers’ compensation or other emoluments provided by the State to its employees.

  • SUSPENSION OF SUPPLIER'S APPOINTMENT 27.1 Without prejudice to the Authority's rights to terminate this Framework Agreement as set out in Clause 26 (Termination), or if the Authority reasonably believes that a Consistent Failure has occurred, the Authority may suspend the Supplier's appointment to provide Services to Contracting Bodies under this Framework Agreement by giving notice in writing to the Supplier which notice shall take immediate effect from the date specified in such notice and the Supplier agrees that it shall not be entitled to enter into any new Order during such suspension period.
