Arrangements for Pharmaceutical Services. 14.10.1. Where the Contractor is a dispensing doctor within the meaning of the Pharmaceutical Regulations,68 the provisions in Schedule 7 shall apply.
Arrangements for Pharmaceutical Services. Where the Contractor is a dispensing doctor within the meaning of the Pharmaceutical Regulations,68 the provisions in Schedule 7 shall apply. Provision of drugs, medicines and appliances for immediate treatment or personal administration The Contractor— shall provide to a patient any drug, medicine or appliance, not being a Scheduled drug, where such provision is needed for the immediate treatment of that patient before a provision can otherwise be obtained; and may provide to a patient any drug, medicine or appliance, not being a Scheduled drug, which he personally administers or applies to that patient, but shall, in either case, provide a restricted availability appliance only if it is for a person or a purpose specified in the Drug Tariff. Nothing in this clause authorises a person to supply any drug or medicine to a patient otherwise than in accordance with Part 3 of the Medicines Act 1968,69 or any regulations or orders made under that Act. The Contractor or its PBM must provide at least two (2) pharmacy providers within thirty (30) miles or thirty (30) minutes from a member’s residence in each county, as well as at least two (2) durable medical equipment providers in each county or contiguous county.

  • Telemedicine Services This plan covers clinically appropriate telemedicine services when the service is provided via remote access through an on-line service or other interactive audio and video telecommunications system in accordance with R.I. General Law § 27-81-1. Clinically appropriate telemedicine services may be obtained from a network provider, and from our designated telemedicine service provider. When you seek telemedicine services from our designated telemedicine service provider, the amount you pay is listed in the Summary of Medical Benefits. When you receive a covered healthcare service from a network provider via remote access, the amount you pay depends on the covered healthcare service you receive, as indicated in the Summary of Medical Benefits.   • Hospice Services Services are available for a Member whose Attending Physician has determined the Member's illness will result in a remaining life span of six months or less.
