Assault-Battery Leave. A Teacher rendered unable to perform teaching duties and responsibilities, either physically or emotionally, because of an injury, which occurs during the duty day as a result of work-related, assault-battery action shall be entitled to the Teacher's per-diem income without sick-leave deduction to a maximum of thirty (30) duty days.
