Assignment of Duties Normally Performed by Bargaining Unit Employees. The State shall notify the Union at least thirty (30) calendar days in advance of the effective date, before assigning duties normally performed by employees in the bargaining units covered by this Contract to any employee, group, individual, organization or business enterprise, if such assignment(s) may result in the displacement of employees in bargaining units covered by this Contract. Upon request, within thirty (30) calendar days of the Union’s receipt of the notice, the State shall meet and confer with the Union over such assignments.
