Smoking Cessation. The SHP PPO shall include a smoking cessation program which shall include smoking cessation counseling.
Smoking Cessation. A. The State will continue to provide smoking cessation programs consistent with prior departmental practices.
B. Participation or non-participation in such programs shall not jeopardize the employment rights of participants and non-participants for failure to successfully complete smoking cessation programs.
C. Where not already implemented, the State agrees to consider smoking cessation programs upon request of groups of employees within the same department and geographic proximity.
Smoking Cessation. Departments with "no smoking" policies shall provide for voluntary smoking cessation counseling for employees within their work locale where budgets allow such expenditures. Employees may use either vacation or sick leave credits, upon approval of their supervisor, to attend cessation counseling.
Smoking Cessation. Employees shall be reimbursed upon proof of participation for the costs of smoking cessation programs, including the cost of related prescriptions, if required, up to a limit of two hundred dollars ($200) per employee. If an employee resumes smoking after receiving the benefit of this Article, such benefit shall not subsequently apply.

The Health Plan shall conduct regularly scheduled smoking cessation programs as an option for all enrollees, or the Health Plan shall make a good faith effort to involve enrollees in existing community smoking cessation programs. The Health Plan shall provide smoking cessation counseling to enrollees. The Health Plan shall provide participating PCPs with the Quick Reference Guide to assist in identifying tobacco users and supporting and delivering effective smoking cessation interventions. Smoking Cessation. Nicotine Patches or Nicotine Gum when prescribed by a physician are covered to a lifetime maximum of $500 per person. The cost of hearing aid when prescribed by a physician or when supplied by an audiologist on the recommendation of a physician, to a maximum of $500 per person every 60 months. Repairs are eligible however, batteries, recharging devices and other accessories are not. The cost of lenses and frames or contact lenses, when prescribed by an ophthalmologist or an optometrist are covered to a maximum of $200 every 24 months per adult and $200 every 12 months per child.
Smoking Cessation. NOMS is committed to reducing smoking levels amongst prisoners and expect all prisons to work in partnership with NHS Services to ensure every prisoner who wants to stop smoking has access to effective smoking cessation services at the point they need them. Governors will ensure the policy set out in PSI 09/2007 is implemented fully and are encouraged to find effective ways of promoting, encouraging and supporting prisoners to stop smoking, including implementing voluntary smoke-free wings where this is practicable.

The Employer shall provide, or pay the total cost for, any program which an employee attends which has the objective of ending an individual's dependence upon and/or addiction to the use of tobacco products. Employees shall be reimbursed for the full cost, not to exceed $50.00, of such program upon presenting evidence of enrollment and attendance. However, employees shall not be entitled to be reimbursed if such program is covered by the employee's health plan or HMO. Employees shall be entitled to such reimbursement only one time. Costs of any additional programs or costs of re-enrolling in any program shall be paid by the employee.

The PSN shall provide Smoking Cessation counseling to Enrollees. Smoking Cessation. The parties are committed to working jointly to create appropriate programs to raise awareness of Team Members of the health risks associated with smoking and encourage Team Members to quit smoking.
