Assignment of Overtime Hours. The parties recognize the important nature of nursing care, and its safe and timely delivery to our members. Providing for that care during periods of staff shortage, is an important accountability of both management and employees. The Employer will make a good faith effort to release employees from work assignments at the end of the scheduled shift. Assignments which would require work beyond the scheduled workday will be offered to employees on a voluntary basis.
