Assignment to Two or More Different Job Classifications. The Company may assign an employee to work at two (2) or more different job classifications during a workday, either temporarily or permanently, for any period of time. Whenever an employee is assigned or transferred to perform two (2) or more job classifications during the day, the employee will receive his/her permanent rate or the rate for the job to which he/she was transferred, whichever is higher, for all time worked in the higher classification when the cumulative amount of time is sixty (60) minutes or more. However, tipped employees will not be required to involuntarily work in a non-tipped job classification.
