Attend Bid Opening and Confer on Evaluation and Tabulation of Bids. The Construction Manager shall attend bid opening and confer with the School District in evaluating and tabulating bids. If School District’s budget for the Cost of the Work is exceeded by the sum of the lower bona fide bid(s), School District shall either: (a) give written approval of an increase in limits; (b) authorize rebidding of the Project within a reasonable time; (c) terminate this Agreement; or (d) cooperate in revising the Project scope and quality as required to reduce the Construction Cost. If School District authorizes rebidding of the Project scope, then Construction Manager will provide all services related to such re-bid and/or revision of the Project, including, if necessary, additional detailed cost estimating at no additional cost to the School District.
