Cost Estimating. The Model may be used to develop cost estimates based on the approximate data provided and conceptual estimating techniques (e.g., volume and quantity of elements or type of system selected).
Cost Estimating. The Model may be used to develop cost estimates due to change in project scope based on the specific data provided and estimating techniques.
Cost Estimating. During Schematic Design, the Architect has submitted to the School District estimates of the Cost of the Work and met with the School District to review the estimates. If revisions to the design documents are required to comply with the School District’s budget for the Cost of the Work, the Architect shall incorporate the required revisions as part of Basic Services.
Cost Estimating. Develop an independent construction cost estimate in accordance with the following:
(1) The estimate shall consist of unit costs applied to the major items and quantities of work. The unit cost shall reflect the complete direct current cost of work; complete cost meaning labor, material, waste allowance, sales tax, and subcontractor’s xxxx-up.
(2) Fees and General Conditions shall be specified as separate line-item costs.
(3) The estimate shall be prepared on the basis of specification section and summarized by the Construction Specifications Institute category.
(4) The estimate shall specify separate line-item categories and totals for the building construction costs, site costs, and utilities costs.
(5) The estimate shall be priced out at current market conditions and shall incorporate all adjustments, as appropriate, relating to mid-point of construction, contingency, and cost index (e.g., Xxxxxxxx-Xxxxx).
Cost Estimating. Provide cost estimating services.
Cost Estimating. The Owner’s Project Manager shall review the Designer’s cost estimates at each Design phase (schematic and construction documents). The Owner’s Project Manager shall identify and notify the Owner of any issues or concerns with the Designer’s cost estimates. In the event that the cost as estimated by the Designer exceeds the construction cost in the Project Budget at any of the Design phases, the Owner’s Project Manager shall consult with the Designer, and recommend to the Owner appropriate revisions to the scope of work.
Cost Estimating. The estimates of project or construction cost for any task(s) provided for herein are to be prepared by the ENGINEER through exercise of their experience and judgment in applying presently available cost data, but it is recognized that the ENGINEER has no control over the cost of labor and materials or over competitive bidding procedures and market conditions, so that the ENGINEER cannot warrant that the project or construction costs will not vary from the ENGINEER's cost estimates.
Cost Estimating. 3.7.1. Contractor shall provide one estimate for each design Phase as follows:

3.7.1.4. Phase V 100% Construction Documents phases 3.7.2. Preparation of Construction Cost Estimates:
3.7.2.1. Contractor shall estimate the cost of the major elements and subcomponents of the Project. The purpose of these Construction Cost Estimates is to verify the owner’s ability to complete the project within the established estimated GMP. The cost information derived from these estimates shall directly relate to Contractor’s recommendations in the Constructability Reviews and (if authorized by Contract Administrator) Value Engineering Report(s) relative to ways to reduce or control costs.
3.7.2.2. All estimates shall be structured to indicate County’s Guaranteed Maximum Price as comprised of the following price elements:
