Attendance at Court While on Annual Leave. If an employee is required to attend Court while on his or her annual leave, compensation therefor will be on the basis of 20 hours for each day or part of a day of required attendance. In the event that an employee is required to travel from a point outside the boundaries of the Greater Vancouver Regional District, other than the employee's place of residence, in order to attend Court, then the employee shall be reimbursed an amount sufficient to cover return travel expenses and other related expenses; PROVIDED THAT the employee returns to the same or equivalent point at the conclusion of the Court attendance.

  • Cashing out annual leave Annual leave may be cashed out by agreement between the Company and an Employee, subject to the following conditions: ▪ An Employee must elect in writing to cash out annual leave; ▪ An Employee must not cash out more than two (2) weeks annual leave in each twelve (12) month period; ▪ The Company must agree to the Employee cashing out their annual leave.

  • Payment for annual leave (a) Before going on annual leave, an employee will be paid the amount of wages they would have received for ordinary time worked had they not been on leave during that period.
