Common use of Attenuation Clause in Contracts

Attenuation. Each Optical Wavelength is delivered with appropriate optical characteristics connected to the Customer Premises Equipment. To ensure optimum performance of the link, the optical signal, in both directions, will be attenuated to desired specifications recommended by Rogers’ equipment vendor and Customer’s equipment vendor. Attenuation of the optical signal required at the Customer Premise Equipment beyond the demarcation point will be provided by the Customer.
