Authority of Superintendent. Wherever it is referred to herein that permission be granted by or that an application be made to, or that an act be done by or that the District approves an act, it shall mean the Superintendent of Water Supply of the District. By authorization of the Town Board through a resolution, the Superintendent may shut off the water supply and remove the meter whenever any of the provisions of these rules, regulations and ordinances are violated. The Superintendent of the District or his authorized agents shall have full power to enter the premises of any consumer, during normal business hours, to read the meters or to examine fixtures, plumbing and manner of water use.

Authority of Superintendent. The administration of instruction and business affairs of the district will be lodged with the Superintendent and administered by him with the assistance of his staff. It is agreed that the Superintendent shall have the authority to organize, reorganize, and arrange the staff structure and alignment in a manner that in his judgment best serves the Lewisburg Area School District. The primary responsibility for selection, placement, transfer, and evaluation of personnel shall be vested in the Superintendent. The Board, individually and collectively, shall refer promptly to the Superintendent all criticisms, complaints, concerns, and suggestions regarding the school district that are called to the Board’s attention.

  • Superintendent The Contractor shall employ a competent superintendent and necessary assistants who shall be in attendance at the Project site during the progress of the Work. The superintendent shall represent the Contractor and all communications given to the superintendent shall be as binding as if given to the Contractor. All Communications shall be in writing when made or shall be confirmed in writing, by the Contractor, within twenty-four (24) hours of the communication.

  • Superintendent of Schools The duly appointed executive officer of the Owner authorized to act by and through The School Board of Broward County, Florida. Referred to hereinafter as the Superintendent.

In addition to a General Superintendent and other administrative and supervisory personnel required for the performance of the Work, the Contractor shall provide specific coordinating personnel as reasonably required for interfacing of all the Work required for the total project, all satisfactory to County Project Manager. The superintendent shall not be changed except with consent of County Project Manager, unless the superintendent proves to be unsatisfactory to the Contractor and ceases to be in his employ, in which case he shall be replaced within twenty-four (24) hours by a superintendent acceptable to County Project Manager. The superintendent shall represent the Contractor in his absence and all directions given to him shall be binding as if given to the Contractor. Whenever, in the sole discretion of the County, the Contractor is not providing a sufficient level of supervision, the County may direct the Contractor to increase the level of supervision for any or all projects, including but not limited to the right to direct the Contractor to assign a full time, dedicated Superintendent for any project; submit daily management, inspection, activity, and planning reports; substitute Subcontractors; submit daily photographs of the work in place and the work areas prepared for the next day’s work; and develop a site specific quality control program, all at no cost to the County. In the event the County’s personnel are required to provide direction or supervision of the work in the field because the Contractor has not provided sufficient supervision, the Contractor shall reimburse the County $150 per hour for such effort.
