Authority to Self-Insure. Nothing in this Agreement shall preclude SAN MATEO from self-insuring all or part of the insurance requirement in this Article. However, SAN MATEO shall provide proof of self-insurance, in a form acceptable to San Francisco, in the amounts of each line of self-insurance.
Authority to Self-Insure. Nothing in this Agreement shall preclude WALNUT CREEK from self- insuring all or part of the insurance requirement in this Article. However, WALNUT CREEK shall provide proof of self-insurance, in a form acceptable to San Francisco, in the amounts of each line of self-insurance.

However, SUBRECIPIENT shall provide proof of self-insurance, in a form acceptable to San Diego, in the amounts of each line of self-insurance.
Authority to Self-Insure. Nothing in this Agreement shall preclude Contractor from self-insuring or appropriating funds for a loss to meet all or part of the insurance requirements I this Agreement. For any self-insurance programs, Contractor shall provide a letter of self-insurance.

The obligation to purchase insurance, as provided above, as it applies to Pacific Gas & Electric Company only (and not its assignees or third party contractors), may be satisfied by self-insurance; provided, however, that any such self- insurance programs shall be acceptable to CITY's Risk Manager, whose approval shall not be unreasonably withheld, conditioned or delayed .

Authority to Self-Insure. The requirements of this section may be satisfied by the provisions of equivalent coverage through a program of self-insurance which is certified in writing with an “Affidavit of Insurance”, or functionally equivalent document.
