Common use of Automatic Payroll Deduction (Overpayment) Clause in Contracts

Automatic Payroll Deduction (Overpayment). In the event a unit member is overpaid for any reason, the District may make an automatic payroll deduction in the unit member’s paycheck to cover the costs of the overpayment in the same increments as the overpayment, providing the total repayment occurs by the end of the fiscal year unless there is mutual agreement between the District and CSEA concerning the affected unit member to extend beyond the fiscal year.
