Common use of Bargaining Unit Meetings Clause in Contracts

Bargaining Unit Meetings. The Lodge shall be permitted upon prior notification to the Chief of Police to address bargaining unit members. Except that the meetings shall not occur during watch briefing time and shall be held in a manner as to not disrupt Division operations. The notification required by this section, unless mutually waived by the parties, shall be at least twenty-four (24) hours in advance of the meeting, and shall indicate the nature of the topic to be discussed.
