Base Salary Increases. The Base Salary shall be increased (the "Base Salary Increase") as of each January 1st (the "Adjustment Date"), commencing in 1999, as follows: the Base Salary in effect immediately before each Adjustment Date shall be increased, based on the Executive's and the Company's performance results and the Annual Performance and Salary Review (as defined in Section 10.1.2 below).
