Common use of Benefits on Sick Leave Clause in Contracts

Benefits on Sick Leave. The Hospital shall continue to pay the Hospital portion of the benefit premiums while an employee is on sick leave, or in receipt of LTD payments to a maximum of 30 months from the time that the absence commenced. The employee will be required to pay their portion of benefit premiums in order to retain benefits for the first 30 months. To retain benefits beyond 30 months, the employee will be required to pay 100% of the benefit premium. Failure to do so will result in the cancellation of benefit coverage.

The employee will be required to pay their portion of benefit premiums in order to retain benefits responsible for the first 30 months. To retain benefits beyond 30 months, the employee will be required to pay 100remaining 50% of the benefit premium. Failure to do so will result in the cancellation of benefit coveragepremiums.
