Benefits While on Leave of Absence. 1. Provided the Teacher pays the appropriate share of the premium costs, the District will continue to pay its share of the cost of benefit premiums during the period: a. a Teacher is absent on sick leave; b. a Teacher is absent on pregnancy leave; c. a Teacher is absent on medical leave and in receipt of B.C.T.F. Salary Indemnity Plan (short term); d. a Teacher is absent on medical leave and in receipt of B.C.T.F. Salary Indemnity Plan (long term) to a maximum of one (1) year; and
