Billing to Interexchange carriers for the switched access services jointly provided by the Parties via the MPB arrangement will be according to the multiple xxxx multiple tariff method. As described in the MECAB document, each Party will render a xxxx in accordance with its tariff for its portion of the service. Each Party will xxxx its own network access service rates to the IXC. The Party that provides the end office switching will be entitled to xxxx any residual interconnection charges (“RIC”) and common carrier line (“CCL”) charges associated with the traffic. In those MPB situations where one Party sub-tends the other Party’s access tandem, only the Party providing the access tandem is entitled to xxxx the access tandem fee and any associated local transport charges. The Party that provides the end office switching is entitled to xxxx end office switching fees, local transport charges, RIC and CCL charges, as applicable.
