Board of Fire and Police Commissioners option. If the employee notifies the Village of his decision to have the appeal heard before the Board of Fire and Police Commissioners, the procedures set forth in 65 ILCS 5/10-2.1-17 shall be applicable except as modified by this Article. Where the Fire Chief believes there is just cause to demote or discharge an employee, he shall not file formal charges with the Board of Fire and Police Commissioners until the employee has notified the Village in writing of his irrevocable option to have the appeal heard before the Board of Fire and Police Commissioners within the ten (10) calendar day period specified above. If the Board of Fire and Police Commissioners determines there is or is not just cause for discipline, it retains the disciplinary and remedial authority, whichever is applicable, set forth in its Rules and Regulations effective July 15, 2002, and 65 ILCS 5/10-2.1-17.

  • Residence Community Living Standards The Residence Community Living Standards (“RCLS”) forms a part of this Agreement. It details the rights, responsibilities, and privileges of Residents as well as the residence conduct process. Each Resident is responsible for reading, understanding, and adhering to the terms outlined within the RCLS. The Manager and the Institution may amend the terms of the RCLS from time to time and may post the amendments in the Residence. Failure to abide by the RCLS may result in eviction from Residence and termination of this Agreement as per the violations and sanctions outlined in the RCLS, and as stated in section 8.01(d).   • Grievance Commissioner The Employer and Union may mutually agree in writing to invoke the Commissioner Process rather than proceed to arbitration as set out in this Collective Agreement. All cases referred to arbitration where an employee has a grievance concerning discipline will only be referred to a Grievance Commissioner if the Employer and the Union agree in writing on all the facts. The parties may also agree to group grievances before a single Grievance Commissioner. A Grievance Commissioner (where more than one, acting in rotation) will set aside such time as may be requested by the Employer and the Union to consider and determine grievances referred to them. A Grievance Commissioner shall have the same powers and be subject to the same limitations as a Board of Arbitration hereunder, save and except as expressly provided in 9.18 to 9.22 hereof.

  • Grievance Commissioner System This is to confirm the discussion of the parties during collective bargaining that they are committed to encouraging early discussion and resolution of labour relations issues at the local level and seek to resolve grievances in a timely and cost efficient manner. To that end, this is to confirm that pursuant to Article 8, the parties agree that the Employer and Union at individual nursing homes may agree to utilize the following process in order to resolve a particular grievance through the utilization of a joint mediation-arbitration procedure:

  • PUBLIC RELATIONS AND PUBLICITY 43.1 The Provider must not by itself, its employees or agents and procure that its Sub-Contractors must:

  • Public Access to Nonprofit Records and Meetings If Contractor receives a cumulative total per year of at least $250,000 in City funds or City-administered funds and is a non-profit organization as defined in Chapter 12L of the San Francisco Administrative Code, Contractor must comply with the City’s Public Access to Nonprofit Records and Meetings requirements, as set forth in Chapter 12L of the San Francisco Administrative Code, including the remedies provided therein.

  • STATE MEAL MANDATE When CONTRACTOR is a nonpublic school, CONTRACTOR and LEA shall satisfy the State Meal Mandate under California Education Code sections 49530, 49530.5 and 49550.

  • Accreditation of Online Schools The District will implement a system of accrediting its online schools, as defined in section 22-30.7- 102(9.5), C.R.S. This system shall adhere to section 00-00-000, C.R.S., including a review of the online school’s alignment to the quality standards outlined in section 22-30.7-105(3)(b), C.R.S., and compliance with statutory or regulatory requirements, in accordance with section 22-30.7-103(3)(m), C.R.S.

  • Governing Law, Regulatory Authority, and Rules The validity, interpretation and enforcement of this Agreement and each of its provisions shall be governed by the laws of the state of New York, without regard to its conflicts of law principles. This Agreement is subject to all Applicable Laws and Regulations. Each Party expressly reserves the right to seek changes in, appeal, or otherwise contest any laws, orders, or regulations of a Governmental Authority.
