Boarding. 17.1 Boarding is an integral feature of school life at Sidcot and contributes to the inclusive family atmosphere. The School takes the utmost care in ensuring boarding children are safe, well looked after and can be in direct contact with House staff at any time. The aim of each boarding house is to provide a homely atmosphere in comfortable surroundings, where rules are kept to a minimum.
