Break and Lunch Clause Samples

The 'Break and Lunch' clause defines the rules and entitlements regarding rest and meal periods during working hours. It typically specifies the duration and timing of breaks, such as a 30-minute lunch break and shorter rest periods, and may outline whether these breaks are paid or unpaid. This clause ensures that employees have adequate time to rest and eat during their shifts, promoting well-being and compliance with labor regulations.
Break and Lunch. Student Supervisors working less than seven and one-half hours per day, but at least six hours per day, shall receive a non-paid thirty minute duty-free lunch and one fifteen-minute break.
Break and Lunch. It is expected that during Break and Lunch all pupils continue to abide by social distancing rules. At the beginning of lunch pupils will be directed to line up at the appropriate 2m distance from each other, once they have collected their meal they will be directed to their own table. Once pupils have finished their meal they will return to their designated classroom. At this current time, the Key worker group of pupils are the only pupils that will have break and ‘play time’ at lunch. During this time pupils will be out on the Astroturf or under the Sixth form building and must keep adequately distanced from each other. Arrangements for lunch payment and information about what is available to eat will follow in a separate letter.
