Break Period. All employees working in full time (7 or 7.5 hour) positions shall be permitted a fifteen (15) minute rest period both in the first half and the second half of a shift.

The basic straight-time workday shall consist of eight (8) hours to be worked consecutively, except for a scheduled uninterrupted meal period of one-half (1/2) hour to be taken as near as practicable to the middle of the work shift, and one (1) paid fifteen (15) minute break during each four (4) hours of work or major fraction thereof.
