Common use of Break Period Clause in Contracts

Break Period. All employees working in full time (7 or 7.5 hour) positions shall be permitted a fifteen (15) minute rest period both in the first half and the second half of a shift.

All employees shall be permitted one fifteen (15) minute paid rest period when they work three (3) hours beyond their regular hours already worked and when an employee works six (6) or more hours they shall receive a thirty (30) minute paid rest period.

All employees shall be permitted one fifteen (15) minute paid rest period when they work three (3) hours of overtime and when an employee works six (6) or more hours they shall receive a thirty (30) minute paid rest period, at the end of the overtime worked.
