Bridge to Benefits. The full benefits of this Salary Enhancement Retirement Plan (Option B) shall be available to any eligible teacher who submits his/her irrevocable letter of resignation during the term of this Agreement for benefits to be received within successive years immediately following receipt of said notice regardless of the fact that some or all of the benefits of this Option B may not be due and owing until after the expiration of this Agreement (e.g., an eligible teacher who submits his/her irrevocable letter of resignation during the 2012-2013 school year for the five year plan shall be eligible to receive the salary enhancement for 2013-14 through 2018.)

Bridge to Benefits. The full benefits of this Advance Notification Incentives Plan shall be available to any eligible teacher who submits his/her letter of resignation during the term of this Agreement for benefits to be received within successive years immediately following receipt of said notice regardless of the fact that some or all of the benefits of this Plan may not be due and owing until after the expiration of this Agreement (e.g., an eligible teacher who submits his/her letter of resignation during the 2020-21 school year for the five (5) year plan shall be eligible to receive the Retirement Enhancement for 2021-22 through 2025-2026.) Notwithstanding anything in the Agreement to the contrary, a teacher who has declared his/her intent to retire per Article X, Section E, and is in the last four (4) years of his or her employment with the District shall not receive an increase in the teacher's creditable earnings of greater than six percent (6%) over the teacher's previous year's creditable earnings.

  • Entitlement to Benefits Notwithstanding the other provisions of this Agreement, a benefit under this Agreement shall not be granted in respect of an item of income if it is reasonable to conclude, having regard to all relevant facts and circumstances, that obtaining that benefit was one of the principal purposes of any arrangement or transaction that resulted directly or indirectly in that benefit, unless it is established that granting that benefit in these circumstances would be in accordance with the object and purpose of the relevant provisions of this Agreement.

  • Existing Benefits The Authority recognizes that as of July 9, 1971 employees in the bargaining unit enjoy certain benefits and privileges not referred to herein and agrees not to alter or change these privileges in such a manner as to discriminate between bargaining unit and non-bargaining unit employees.

  • Training Benefits In the event that the Employer should introduce new methods or machines which require new or greater skills than are possessed by employees under the present method of operation, such employees shall, at the expense of the Employer, be given a reasonable period of time, in the opinion of the Employer, during which they may perfect or acquire the skills necessitated by the new method of operation. There shall be no change in wage or salary rates during the training period of any such employee.

  • Sick Benefits 15.01 Eligible employees will receive Short Term Disability Benefits in accordance with the terms and conditions outlined in the STD Plan Text, a copy of which has been supplied to the Union. The STD plan forms part of this Collective Agreement.

  • Compensation and Benefits As compensation for all services performed by the Executive under and during the term hereof and subject to performance of the Executive’s duties and of the obligations of the Executive to the Company and its Affiliates, pursuant to this Agreement or otherwise:

  • Termination Benefits (a) If Executive’s employment is voluntarily (in accordance with Section 2(a) of this Agreement) or involuntarily terminated within two (2) years of a Change in Control, Executive shall receive:

  • Accrued Benefits The term "Accrued Benefits" shall include the following amounts, payable as described herein: (i) all base salary for the time period ending with the Termination Date; (ii) reimbursement for any and all monies advanced in connection with the Executive's employment for reasonable and necessary expenses incurred by the Executive on behalf of the Company and its Affiliates for the time period ending with the Termination Date; (iii) any and all other cash earned through the Termination Date and deferred at the election of the Executive or pursuant to any deferred compensation plan then in effect; (iv) notwithstanding any provision of any bonus or incentive compensation plan applicable to the Executive, a lump sum amount, in cash, equal to the sum of (A) any bonus or incentive compensation that has been allocated or awarded to the Executive for a fiscal year or other measuring period under the plan that ends prior to the Termination Date but has not yet been paid (pursuant to Section 5(f) or otherwise) and (B) a pro rata portion to the Termination Date of the aggregate value of all contingent bonus or incentive compensation awards to the Executive for all uncompleted periods under the plan calculated as to each such award as if the Goals with respect to such bonus or incentive compensation award had been attained; and (v) all other payments and benefits to which the Executive (or in the event of the Executive's death, the Executive's surviving spouse or other beneficiary) may be entitled as compensatory fringe benefits or under the terms of any benefit plan of the Employer, including severance payments under the Employer's severance policies and practices in the form most favorable to the Executive that were in effect at any time during the 180-day period prior to the Effective Date. Payment of Accrued Benefits shall be made promptly in accordance with the Employer's prevailing practice with respect to clauses (i) and (ii) or, with respect to clauses (iii), (iv) and (v), pursuant to the terms of the benefit plan or practice establishing such benefits.

  • Rights and Benefits In all policies of D&O Insurance, the Indemnitee shall be named as an insured in such a manner as to provide the Indemnitee the same rights and benefits as are accorded to the most favorably insured of the Company’s directors, if the Indemnitee is a director; or of the Company’s officers, if the Indemnitee is not a director of the Company but is an officer; or of the Company’s key employees, if the Indemnitee is not a director or officer but is a key employee.
