Common use of Bridging of Service Clause in Contracts

Bridging of Service. ‌ An employee who resigns as a result of the employee’s decision to raise a dependent child or children, and is re-employed, upon written notification to the Employer shall be credited with accrued service accumulated up to the time of resignation for the purposes of long service vacation entitlement benefits as defined in this agreement. The following conditions shall apply:

Bridging of Service. ‌ An 32:01 A regular employee who resigns as a result of the employee’s decision to raise a dependent child or childrenchildren and at the time of resignation notifies the employer of a potential to return to work, and who is re-subsequently re- employed, upon written notification to with the Employer shall be credited with accrued the length of service accumulated up to the time of resignation for the purposes of income protection (sick leave) and long service vacation entitlement benefits as defined in this agreementAgreement and based on service seniority. The following conditions shall apply:
