Broadbanding. 28.1 The Chief Executive Officer may convert a position to a broadband of two classification levels where: (a) the duties of the position genuinely span more than one level; or (b) there is capacity for the duties of the position to expand to take on higher-level responsibilities appropriate to a higher classification level as the occupant of the position becomes more highly skilled and experienced.
