Common use of Bulletins Clause in Contracts

Bulletins. All vacancies and new positions covered by the Agreement will be bulletined on a system-wide basis. Except where otherwise agreed to by both parties to this Agreement, temporary jobs of six months or less may not be bulletined. Bulletins will be posted at all headquarters where employees engaged on work covered by this Agreement report for duty. Wherever possible a minimum of two (2) weeks will be allowed for the receipt of applications. Selection and appointment of the successful candidate will be completed not later than 60 calendar days after the bulletin posting date. A successful applicant to a bulletined vacancy must confirm their acceptance within ten (10) days of the date they received notification of their selection; failing this their name will be dropped from the competition.
