Problem Solving Stage. 16.02.01 Employee(s), Employer representative(s) or Union representative(s) are encouraged to resolve any dispute through face-to-face discussion with the person(s) with whom there is a dispute. Problem solving must occur within ten (10) working days of the incident giving rise to the dispute. If either party intends to proceed to the consultation stage, the request for consultation must also be filed within the same ten (10) working days in accordance with Article 16.03.
16.02.02 The discussion should include sharing information relevant to the dispute to the fullest extent possible, at the earliest opportunity.
16.02.03 The discussion should include an open, respectful exchange of the interests of the persons directly affected by the dispute, and an exploration of options to satisfy these interests.
Problem Solving Stage. The employee, with the Shop Xxxxxxx, will endeavor to resolve any difference or dispute informally by discussing the issue or alleged violation with the first-line Manager before filing a formal grievance.
Problem Solving Stage. (i) Company - Supervisor
(ii) Union - Shop Xxxxxxx
Problem Solving Stage. When the Supervisor is approached by the Shop Xxxxxxx with a problem, the Supervisor, employee(s) and Shop Xxxxxxx will have 14 calendar days to solve the problem. Where reasonably possible this meeting will be held on the next shift. If reasonably possible, this meeting will be held on the next following shift. In any event, a mutually acceptable meeting will be scheduled when the Supervisor is approached.
Problem Solving Stage. Should an issue arise, an xxxxxxx effort shall be made by the employee(s), with or without a Shop Xxxxxxx, to settle the issue with the Supervisor. If they are unable to resolve the issue within seven (7) working days, the Chief Shop Xxxxxxx, with or without the grievor(s) have seven (7) working days to submit the grievance in writing to the Department Head or delegate.
Problem Solving Stage. Should an issue arise, an xxxxxxx effort shall be made by the employee(s), and /or Union Xxxxxxx, to settle the issue with the Supervisor. They have up to fourteen (14) calendar days to resolve the issue. If not resolved, the Union xxxxxxx, with or without the grievor(s) have up to fourteen (14) calendar days to submit the grievance in writing to the Manager or delegate.
Problem Solving Stage. At this stage, the Supervisor responding to the problem will verbally state to the Xxxxxxx and, where possible, the employee, within fourteen
Problem Solving Stage. An employee, a representative of the Employer or a representative of the Union is encouraged to resolve any dispute through face-to-face discussion with the person(s) with whom there is a dispute. If either party intends to proceed to the Formal Review Stage, the request to initiate a grievance or policy grievance must also be filed within the same ten working days in accordance with Article 33.
Problem Solving Stage. 4.1 At the ‘Problem Solving Stage’ disclosures of factual events can be made by the Police Neighbourhood Beat Manager, Police Community Support Officers, Local Authorities Officers and/or registered Social Landlord Officers to determine if a joint approach to reported incidents is required. Such disclosures will only deal with incidents or offences that have occurred in the premises, or in the locality of the dwelling, and will be aimed at deciding on the course of any joint action, if required. Any disclosures should be recorded and comply with the principle that ‘the minimum disclosure required is the maximum disclosure permitted’.
4.2 The Police and Housing providers should meet regularly to discuss and prioritise incidents of criminal or anti-social behaviour identified by any party to this agreement. Such discussions should include whether criminal prosecution or civil proceedings would be the most appropriate course of action.
4.3 In addition to legal proceedings arising from the exchange of information, joint operations should include joint visits by housing officers and local police officers and, where appropriate, Environmental Health Officers, to tenants to warn about the consequences of continued criminal and anti-social behaviour. In particular this action would be targeted at preventing further criminal and anti- social behaviour by young people.
a) Joint visits may also be appropriate when interviewing a victim of harassment or where violence has been used or threatened.
b) Support should be given to the sharing of surveillance equipment.
c) Input by Police Designing Out Crime Officers should be provided where it is identified by the Local Authority or Social Landlords that such an input would be helpful in dealing with anti-social behaviour and crime at any design stage.
4.4 Escalation to the Formal Process Stage will only be considered after the Problem Solving Stage has been concluded.

Furthermore, if there is no resolve at the problem solving stage, the parties agree to an initial disclosure of all evidence and information a maximum of thirty (30) days after the grievance is advanced beyond the problem solving stage. Documents that become available after this date must be further disclosed without delay.
