Requests for Transfer. On an annual basis, the School Board will provide an opportunity for teachers to formally request a transfer to any teaching position(s) in the District for which they are properly licensed. The School Board reserves its management right of selection and direction of employees, but shall give written notice to each teacher whose request for transfer is denied.
Requests for Transfer a. A request for transfer to fill an existing vacancy shall be made to the superintendent or his/her designated representative within the time limit specified in the notice of vacancy.
Requests for Transfer. Career teachers may apply for specific external vacancies by submitting a transfer application to Human Resources within five (5) working days following the initial external vacancy notice. After a teacher has submitted one (1) transfer application, requests for transfer to additional external vacancies can be accomplished by notifying Human Resources within two (2) working days following the external vacancy notice. All external vacancies will be posted electronically on the district website and sent electronically to all teachers as the external vacancies become known during the hiring season.
Requests for Transfer. A transfer is when an employee moves to another work location or assignment with the same position description. Requests by an employee shall be made in writing, one (1) copy of which shall be filed with the supervisor, one (1) copy with the HR Department, and one (1) copy with the Association. The application shall set forth the reasons for transfer, the school, grade or position sought, and the applicant’s qualifications. The administration shall act upon such request in writing within a reasonable period of time thereafter. The criteria for considering such request shall include but not be limited to the employee’s qualifications and seniority, time of request, and availability of position requested. Upon request, reasons for denying a transfer will be given in writing to the employee.
Requests for Transfer. In order to provide for effective compliance with this Section 4.02, a Holder who proposes to effect a Transfer of Warrants, or who proposes to effect a deemed Transfer pursuant to which Warrant Shares are to be issued in the name of a Person other than the record h older of the applicable Warrant, must submit to the Company in accordance with Section 7.03, prior to the date of the proposed Transfer, a written request (a “Transfer Request”) that the Company review the proposed Transfer and authorize or not authorize the proposed Transfer pursuant to this Section 4.02. A Transfer Request shall include: (i) the name, address, jurisdiction of organization or citizenship and telephone number of the proposed Transferee, (ii) the number of Warrants proposed to be so Transferred, (iii) the date on which the proposed Transfer is expected to take place, (iv) the name of the Holder proposing such Transfer, and (v) such information as the Company in its discretion may reasonably request (and which may, in the Company’s sole discretion, include an opinion of counsel to be provided at the Transferor’s sole cost and expense to such effect) to establish that registration of the proposed Transfer is not required under the Securities Act or any applicable state securities or “blue sky” laws. The Company shall, within five Business Days after its receipt of a Transfer Request that includes all of the information set forth in the foregoing clauses (i) through (v), determine whether to authorize the Transfer proposed in such Transfer Request and shall notify the proposed Transferor of such determination; provided that the only bases on which a Transfer may be denied are failure to comply with the applicable obligations and restrictions set forth in this Article IV or in Article 4 of the Stockholders Agreement (other than Section 4.1(f) of the Stockholders Agreement); provided, further, that if the Company does not notify the proposed Transferor of its determination within such time period, the Transfer proposed in such Transfer Request shall be deemed to be approved hereunder.
Requests for Transfer applications and transfer lists will be kept until the first teacher contract day of the school year after the February 15th submission. A Professional Staff Member may revoke the request for transfer at any time prior to Human Resources notifying the Professional Staff Member of his/her new assignment.

Requests for Transfer. 18.01(a) An employee wishing to transfer to another Department or a Division within the same Department and within the same classification may submit, once per year, such request in writing to the Human Resources Division of the Corporate Services Department.
Requests for Transfer. All requests to be transferred to any vacancy shall be addressed to the Superintendent, listing the training, experience and skills possessed which qualify the employee for the vacancy. All qualified employees who apply and meet minimum qualifications, will be considered except where the position has been filled through recall from a reduction in force. The most qualified applicant will be awarded the position. This section shall not prohibit the Board from considering qualified external applicants for vacancies. No current employee shall be required to be tested for any position within their current classification. If the employee with the greatest district seniority who applies for a vacancy is not deemed the most qualified, the employee may ask for the reasons why with the emphasis on providing the employee with information so the employee can better his/her qualifications. When a current employee transfers to another position or classification which carries a higher compensation level, he/she will be placed on a step closest to a rate resulting in approximately a 5% increase in compensation. If the employee transfers to another position or classification within the District which carries a lower compensation level, he/she will be placed at the wage step of the new classification that will result in the least amount of decrease of hourly wage. After the filling of a particular vacancy, all such requests for transfer will be considered void.
