Common use of Call-Back Travel Allowance Clause in Contracts

Call-Back Travel Allowance. An employee called back to a worksite, office or client’s home shall receive call-back travel allowance as follows: (A) mileage allowance at rates set by the Canada Revenue Agency; or (B) where public or private transportation facilities are not avail- able, taxi fare from home to hospital and return. In either (A) or (B) above, an employee shall be paid a minimum of two dollars ($2.00) for each round trip.
