Common use of Cancellation of Assignment Clause in Contracts

Cancellation of Assignment. 5.3.2.1. Substitute teachers will receive advanced notice of cancellation of assignment by 5:00 p.m. at the latest on the day prior to the scheduled assignment. Cancellation occurring after 5:00 p.m. on the day prior to the assignment will result in the substitute teacher receiving the daily rate agreed to in the initial booking.

Cancellation of Assignment. 5.3.2.1. Substitute teachers will receive advanced shall receive, at minimum, eighteen (18) hours’ notice of cancellation of assignment by 5:00 p.m. at the latest on the day prior to the scheduled assignment. Cancel the assignment with no required compensation The provisions of this clause shall not apply when the cancellation of assignment is due to inclement weather or school closure.
